As the central figures in the medical community, doctors are exceptionally
well trained. However, with progressing medical
technology, it is vital for physicians to move forward and take advantage
of new medical procedures. Whether it is the availability and benefits
of a new drug, the introduction of a new piece of surgical equipment,
or a newer, more effective treatment of an old disease, EXCEL provides
physicans with the tools to enhance their knowledge, practice, and quality
of patient care.
EXCEL Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical
education for physicians. The AMA recognizes this accreditation and
medical doctors who attend our activities may claim category 1 credit
toward the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA).
The following organizations accept AMA PRA category 1 credit towards
their continuing education or recertification requirements:
- American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center
- American Academy of Physician Assistants.

With advancements in medical technology, nurses, pharmacists,
and other medical professionals must progress with it in order to maintain
their proficiency. As the link between the patient and the physician,
it is key that all health care personnel keep current. In fact, several
branches of the health care profession require their members to maintain
their certifications by attending Continuing Medical Education conferences,
seminars, or classes.
EXCEL is an approved provider by the Florida Board of Nurses and the Florida Physician Assistants (#50-619). Each state has their own criteria, and most accept Florida credits. Check with your state nursing organizations concerning Florida credits. EXCEL is registered with CE Broker in Florida.

A higher quality of patient care is the end result of physicans and
health care professionals receiving quality training in new techniques.
EXCEL ensures that patients are receiving the best care available by
providing venues for medical professionals to learn newer, better methods
for treating them.
