EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:

• Interpret the relation of conventional MRI and clinical measures of MS activity and progression

• Discuss factors that contribute to disease progression and individualize treatments accordingly

• Identify non responders in order to better monitor and manage breakthrough disease and review methods to stratify patients for treatment selection and biomarkers to predict individual response to therapy.

• Compare current treatments and identify new, emerging potential therapeutic options and discuss how these can be integrated to provide the best possible care for MS patients.

• Apply knowledge gained on safe and effective MS management options to optimize patient quality of life and reduce disability.
