The EXCEL Continuing Education team is a select group of medical and healthcare service professionals committed to providing healthcare stakeholders with services to meet the needs for development, preservation, evaluation of key learnings and competency.

One of our goals is to offer innovative educational activities that can address the multi-cultural diversity of our country. Despite overall improvements in medical care, many Americans – especially those of certain racial and ethnic backgrounds – continue to experience care that is far below recommended standards.

Our activities provide physicians with a better understanding of the different health-related cultural beliefs and expectations patients bring with them to a doctor's office, and how different diseases affect diverse populations. Participants can EXCEL by applying this knowledge in their daily practice and thus, meet the needs of their specific patient population.
