TARGET AUDIENCE / PROGRAM OVERVIEW / NEEDS ASSESSEMENT

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of primary care physicians, neurologists,
psychiatrists, and nurses involved in the care of patients with neurologic disorders.

As the population grows in the US, there is an increase in the number of people affected by neurological
diseases. This symposium will focus on the impact of recent advances in the diagnosis and management of several neurological disorders and will serve to bridge a major gap in the medical community’s knowledge of novel and emerging treatment options. In addition, the various levels of outcomes for co-morbidities, cognitive functioning and social reintegration of successful therapeutic interventions will be addressed.
