TARGET AUDIENCE / PROGRAM OVERVIEW / NEEDS ASSESSEMENT

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of primary care physicians, pulmonologists,
cardiologists, rheumatologists and nurses involved in the care of patients with PH.

Clinicians must maintain adequate knowledge to diagnose, refer and effectively treat pulmonary hypertension
conditions, many with possible serious and even fatal consequences if not properly managed. The goal of this conference is to educate and provide a review of the most current therapeutic strategies for the diagnosis, prevention, and management of pulmonary hypertensions; to advance the care of individuals with various forms of the disease; and to increase the practice of evidencebased medicine by all healthcare professionals in
order to improve patient outcomes.
